A Walk On Oak Street

There are fewer and fewer commercial districts in America today that are able to maintain an old-time neighborhood feel. Oak Street in the Riverbend neighborhood of Old Carrollton, New Orleans has maintained such an ambience that it attracts residents, businesses, and even filmmakers who have shot such features such as "All the Kings Men" and "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" on this historic street. These images reflect a "Walk On Oak Street" on June 19, 2009.
